Demi Lovato Shares New Feathered Friend On Twitter

Filming on location can be difficult, even if you're hanging out with the Jonas Brothers. So while hanging around the Canadian set of "Camp Rock: The Final Jam" (the sequel to the hit Disney TV movie from 2008), Demi Lovato bonded with a barnyard animal and called her a pal. Lovato took to Twitter to announce "Made best friends with a chicken today. No lie. Pictures later!"

She delivered on her promise and posted two photos a few hours later. "She was falling asleep in my arms!" Lovato wrote about her fowl pal. "So cute. I was so close to taking it home with me." She also added, "I swear, it was love at first sight."

In addition to the bonding with animals, it sounds like the "Camp Rock" sequel experience is going well for her, as she also recently tweeted, "So thankful for the friendships I've made from both 'Camp Rock' and 'Camp Rock 2.'" It's been an excellent year for Lovato, who saw her most recent album Here We Go Again debut at the top of the Billboard albums chart back in July and went on a popular two month tour with David Archuleta. Once the movie — which also stars all three Jonas Brothers, reprising their roles from the first "Camp Rock" — wraps up filming in Ontario, Lovato will head back out on the road to cover a few more tour dates. Will she take the (apparently unnamed) chicken home with her? It's difficult to get livestock across the Canadian border, but if anybody can do it, Demi can.

Tiffany Thornton: It's on with Alexa Chung

Tiffany Thornton, who plays the role of Tawni Hart on the Disney Channel Series Sonny with a Chance, recently caught up with host Alexa Chung on It’s On with Alexa Chung and dished about the typical Texas hair. Tiffany shared, “Honey, the higher the hair, the closer to God. Aqua Net (hairspray) goes a long way.”

February 2009: Demi Lovato made the media rounds last week in New York City, promoting her new series, Sonny With A Chance and the deluxe edition of her freshman album, Don’t Forget (out March 31).

The 16-year-old Disney darling took the time to chat with JustJaredJr.com and dish all about Sonny and her good friends, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift.

JJJ: Hi Demi! Are you familiar with Just Jared?

DL: Uh, DUH! (laughs) And your JR site is awesome! I’ve been addicted to your regular site forever. Yeah…I try not to [read them all] to be honest. You know what I mean? It’s really just the comments that are mean.

JJJ: All of my readers know what Sonny with a Chance is all about, has anyone played any pranks on set yet?

DL: Yes! We’ll do things behind…(pause) Oh, this is so weird, like, I’m star struck! My mom would freak if she knew that, like, JARED was sitting in here! So funny! (giggles) Okay, anyways, we play pranks on each other. Tiffany [Thornton] is one of my new best friends, I love her TO DEATH! She and I were waiting to go into a scene, but our cue wasn’t up yet, but we had these bread rolls. We would roll them across the floor to see if anyone noticed. And no one noticed the entire time! So, hopefully they’ll show it in the episode, our bread rolling across the floor. I don’t know, we have this thing called “Ortho,” like this giant mannequin that has a horror face mask on it, so it’s completely scary. They’ll hide it in people’s rooms, or in their shower, or in their bathroom. Whoever got scared last will do it, it’s like a chain thing. Someone even put a camera on it, too. They hid it in my room one time and it scared the living crap out of me!

JJJ: What’s your favorite memory of filming so far? How many episodes have you filmed?

DL: We’ve filmed 15 episodes and we have six left, but I don’t want it to be over yet because I’ve had so much fun! One of my favorite memories was last Friday when we were shooting and we just couldn’t stop laughing. I had had too much sugar, and two red bulls, so I was bouncing off the wall and I couldn’t stop laughing. We were all dying laughing, it was hilarious. There was no joke, we were just ridiculous. It was awesome.

JJJ: Miley Cyrus has been to your house for meatloaf…What did you guys do when she came over?

DL: Tiffany was over with her best friend Alicia, so the four of us were just hanging out in my room. Then we had dinner, there was lots of laughing, and then later Miley left with Justin [Gaston]. She’s hilarious! She fit right into my family, too! She had never met my whole entire family at once, but Tiffany had done an episode of Hannah Montana, so we all obviously knew each other. And, yeah, we were just hanging out and it was funny.

JJJ: Your friend Taylor [Swift] had her music on Grey’s Anatomy and she guest starred on CSI. Is there a show that you would want to guest star in or have your music on?

DL: I want to guest star on 30 Rock, because that would just be amazing. Because Sonny with a Chance is kind of like 30 Rock, and because Tina Fey is like, my home girl. She doesn’t know that, but, I love her. That would be amazing if I could guest star on that.

JJJ: How are you celebrating Valentine’s Day?

DL: I don’t know, I’m going to be in California…I’ll be with Tiffany and we’ll celebrating her birthday! No boys…(laughs)…you know, I don’t need a boy on Valentine’s Day!

Main Characters of Sonny with a Chance - The Guys

Nico Harris (Brandon Mychal Smith)

Nico is one of the main cast members of "So Random!" and is best friends with Grady Mitchell, his fellow cast member. They're usually seen formulating wacky plans and new schemes to impress women or make money, although most of their schemes don't go as planned. Nico tries to impress women in very unique ways such as making a girl afraid of a snake so that he could save her in "Cheater Girls". Nico's fashion style is very evident, usually seen wearing a hat and canvas shoes. Before being selected to cast on "So Random!", he used to run a one-man show: NICO!


Grady Mitchell (Doug Brochu)

Grady is also best friends with Nico Harris, his fellow cast members and is always attempting to formulate wacky plans and crazy schemes with his friend as they attempted to sell celebrity "junk" (cosmetics items belonging to Tawni) on the Internet to make money to buy a new games console in "Fast Friends". He loves to eat and is a huge fan of "Meatball Monday" where him and Nico buy loads of meatball subs to devour. In "Promises Prom-misses", he takes ball room dance lessons from Nico to impress girls at the prom but ends up horribly wrong prompting him to say "Sorry! I over-twirled again!!"

Chad Dylan Cooper (Sterling Knight)

Chad is the teen heart throb of the rival show "Mackenzie Falls" which also films in the same studio as "So Random!". He is known to be generally self-centered and not caring of what other people think or feel. But at times, he is seen to be kind and caring when he pretends to be the fake fan of Sonny's to avoid her from embarrassment on a live show. He is seen usually wearing the traditional Mackenzie Falls outfit with a suit and white canvas shoes but outside of the studio, he dresses normally. Initially, he has a love/hate relationship with Sonny but soon develops a crush on her, although he tries to deny and hide it at all points.

Alison "Sonny" Munroe (Demi Lovato)

Sonny is the newest member to the cast of "So Random!" after being called onto the show from Wisconsin. Sonny is aways friendly to everyone and always offers her help or advice whenever others have problems because she wants others to achieve their dream, just as she did hers. However, her help can sometimes lead to further problems! Sonny always tries to be happy and is quoted to be "The Ambassador of Fun" in "Sonny and the Studio Brat"

She has a love/hate relationship with Chad Dylan Cooper, the teen heart throb of the rival show "Mackenzie Falls" but although she won't admit it, she develops a major crush on him through the latter part of the series and tries to keep it a secret. Sonny is friends with her fellow cast members Nico, Grady, Zora and becomes a close friend to Tawni Hart.



Tawni Hart (Tiffany Thornton)

Tawni thinks of herself as the star of "So Random!", thus igniting her jealously when new cast member Sonny arrives from Wisconsin and attracts a huge number of fans. She cares deeply about fashion and her self-appearance, causing her to ignore what others say. Initially when she meets Sonny, Tawni doesn't get along very well due to their mismatch of personalities and also she doesn't want to give up the limelight. But as they both get to know each other, they become close friends. Her dream is to create "Tawni Town" which she describes as "a great dream and a heck of a town!" in Promises Prom-misses.







Zora Lancaster (Allisyn Ashley Arm)

Zora is the youngest member of the cast of "So Random!" being only 11 years old. However, even for her age, she is seen as the most smartest of the group with a genius IQ Level but is also seen as fairly strange at some points due to her quirky personality and mischievous behaviour. She used to apparently have a 10 year old boyfriend called "Holloway" much to the surprise of the rest of the cast in "Promises Prom-misses". She is seen hiding in the air vents quite frequently, listening in on secret conversations.
